"I was born in Siem Reap although my grandparents originally came from China.  I lost my father in the 70's and he was only 30 years old.  I am not sure if he is still alive or not, but we haven't heard from him since then.  My mother started

selling things at a small store to bring us up.  Life was hard for us and we just had enough to eat and my mother's health isn't that good.  I only finished primary school but I enjoyed school a lot as I like to know lots of things.  I enjoy learning different languages including Thai and English.    To follow my mother's trade, most of us are running our own stores.  I have been selling clothes at the Old Market in Siem Reap for a long time and my husband helps me out too.  If I had lots of money, I would do something to look after the old people and children in my village.  I didn't have any dream when I was young, but my dream now is too see my children grow up and have good jobs."
