If we could choose a superpower, perhaps is not bad to be able to know the unknown.
The ability to foresee things that are yet to happen or simply have the knowledge about certain things that others may not know. How cool is it?
If I take this topic to any insurance company and they would call this as Risk Management (for sure!). On the other hand, Mr Wong from a local temple would call it Fortunate Telling. Or my dear friend who practices mindfulness would tell me it is Intuition.
No matter how we call it, it is a good thing to know the unknown?
I am about to fly out to Siem Reap to help rebuild a classroom for a month. I am excited and I am nervous. Do I know the unknown? Probably not. Am I worried? Probably not.
Guess what just happened... I was sitting at the airport lounge writing this blog while waiting to board my flight, (without me knowing) the pilot actually came out, sat next to me and greeted me! First time ever in my entire flying life to be greeted by the pilot before taking off!
It was a delightful unknown!
Not knowing what is going to happen perhaps is half the fun, and I like it that way.
Thank you captain Woody to be my unknown today!
What about you? Would you like to know the unknown?
